Master Carolyn Moser

Master Carolyn Moser-Klos (goes by Master Moser) started training in martial arts in January of 1983 at Santa Fe Karate.  After earning a black belt in Karate, she joined Im's Martial Arts in Texas City in 1986 under the tutelage of Master T. S. Im.   This was her introduction into the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF), the governing body for Taekwondo around the world.  In 1989, Master Im moved his school from Texas City to Houston and Master Moser began her training with the Korean Martial Arts Academy (KMA Centers) under Grandmaster Song Chol, whom she still remains under to this day.  Master Moser's love for martial arts and her competitive drive took her to victory in tournaments all over Texas and medaled in 1993 at the National's competition in St. Paul, MN.

In 1994, Master Carolyn Moser opened her school in Santa Fe at 4222 Warpath.  She has trained her students to obtain many of the same high standards that she sets.  Her students consistently bring home gold, silver, and bronze medals from competition at the local, state, national, and even international levels.  In 2004, Master Moser took a group of students to Korean for one of their biggest competitions and they brought home 2 gold medals, one silver, and one bronze.  Her love of for the art keeps her training as hard as ever and constantly finding new ways to pass on her knowledge to the next generation of martial artist.  She was awarded by Grandmaster Song with recognition as Instructor of the Year on two different occasions and School of the Year, also on two different occasions.

In 2005, Master Carolyn Moser became the Chief Taekwondo Instructor for Korean Martial Arts of Santa Fe.  Her thirst for knowledge and love of the Korean arts have led her to becoming a student again in the art of Hapkido.  She is currently a green belt in Hapkido and will continue to work her way through the ranks to one day earn a black belt in Hapkido.

Master Carolyn Moser lives in Galveston, Texas with her husband Gary Klos.  She also has two grown children, Amy Smith and Clint Moser, and one beautiful grandchild, Bailey Smith. When asked how long she will continue to train in martial arts? She answers, "I want to do this forever."
